The Pisces Full Moon is on September 6, 2017, at 12:03 a.m. PDT at 13 Degrees Pisces 53′.  In our fire ravaged area we have not seen a bright white Moon for weeks.  Orange is the colored cloak she wears.  If you are a Moon Watcher, as I am, you spend the month watching her move through her phases with the Full Moon being the fulfillment stage of whatever you set for your intentions at the New Moon.  In her Full Moon Phase, she is rising powerfully in the night sky bringing closure to the recent Solar Eclipse.  Her goal will be to bring light to that which is dark and hidden. “Nothing is hidden that will not be made known; nothing is secret that will not come to light.” Sibabalwe Sontundu

Full Moons always have the potential to bring forth our emotions and habitual responses to the sign it bears.  Pisces, ruled by the planet Neptune, is a passive, mutable water sign known for being receptive, imaginative, psychic, and sensitive.  The recent events in Houston underscore a positive Pisces theme of the collective coming together, in all walks of life, with compassion, love and aid to the victims with no thought to their race, age, gender or nationality.  We opened our hearts, homes, and wallets to homeless victims of Hurricane Harvey.  This is about as close as we get to the Collective becoming unified as One.  “So powerful is the light of Unity that it can illuminate the whole Earth.” -Baha’i Writings

The Sun is always opposite the Full Moon.  Residing in the sign of Virgo its function is to analyze information in order to function efficiently.  Virgo loves to serve and seeks perfection.  A word of caution is advised if you have been inundated by the Collective emotions of our recent events.  Make time for yourself.  Remove yourself from any overwhelming situations that cause your feelings to run amuck and take some time to come ashore for some R&R.  Your need to help others at this time should include you as well.  Take time to smell the air and flowers, walk on Mother Earth, and breathe deeply and slowly feeling all of Mother Nature in your soul.  Give thanks and gratitude for the love and compassion to open your heart to all in need, and now imagine it flowing back inside you.  Just be.  “When you open your heart with a quiet mind, love rushes in.” Genevieve Gerard
