In the circle of life, we are 180 degrees from The Great American Total Solar Eclipse of last summer.  On February 15, 2018, at 1:05 p.m. PST we will experience a New Moon ~ Partial Solar Eclipse at 27 Degrees Aquarius 07′.  This eclipse is nearly an exact opposition to the Leo New Moon ~ Total Solar Eclipse experienced in August 2017.  While it is on the same axis of Leo/Aquarius, it occurs in the opposite sign reflecting the significant difference between the two: Leo a fiery fixed social sign with a giant heart who needs acknowledgment vs. Aquarius an intellectual, humanitarian self-sufficient fixed air sign who walks their path in life without seeking approval.  Last summer we were emotionally focused on individuality: me, myself, and I: Who am I?  What do I want?  Where am I going in life?  As the emotional waters of life ran through us during the past six months, we searched for our authentic self.  In Aquarius, we crossed the bridge and found ourselves on the other side of the river.  The focus is on putting yourself out into the world to be seen.  “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” ~ Aristotle

While this is a partial eclipse and only visible in the lower southern hemisphere, all of us will still receive the energy pattern:  change is in the air.  We are, once again, at a turning point in our life. Take a deep breath, reflect on where you were last August and what changes have occurred to you since then.  Did you develop the areas of yourself that demanded Leo uniqueness?  Did you ignite that spark within you which was demanding to shine?  Where did you integrate the Leo eclipse energies, and are you now living a more genuine life?  The Aquarian energy is here to assist you in the integration of that knowledge into your larger community: Networks of friends, social groups, career associates.  “In every success story, you will find someone who has made a courageous decision.”  ~ Peter F. In the New Moon stage, we are beginning a new cycle rather than a culmination of energy that occurs with a Full Moon.  Leo has left the scene, and Aquarius now has the front and center stage.
